CB-500 four
A true style-icon from the 70´s. I came over this beautiful bike at ebay.com and had to have it. A few dollars and a lot of weeks later it arrived Oslo, a 1975 model Honda CB-550 four, -a beauty.
The Honda CB-550 four was a real tiger when it was launched in the beginning of the 70´s. Still the 50 horesepower bike with four cylinders makes a wonderful sound, and is a true joyride. I waited for the bike all summer, to get it shipped from the US to Norway takes some weeks and the summer season in Norway is pretty much like 4 weeks...hehe. When I first got it here I needed to have it checked to get plates, and there was a lot of people who wanted the exact same thing. After beeing rejected once because of lack of a document I finally got plates in the end of sept. Meaning I got to ride it 3-4 weeks before it was to cold.
I could´nt wait to get it on the road this spring, and now I drive it every day, as long as it´s not raining cats and dogs that is.
