My favorites:
Alfa 159
Oh... I remember when I first saw the picture of this car, that was the end of my long career as a driver of Ford. Not that I loved Ford in any way, but my mother´s been working there for many years, and I got to buy cars with a good discount.
But, when I saw the 159 I was sold. And it´s not strange, the cars a design-icon already, and a dream to ride. I have had the pleasure of owning a 159 for a little more than 3 years now, and I´m still in love! I have not had any problems what so ever with the car (until last week, -I´l tell more about that later). The car is really a nice drive, and the grip is exellent, exept on icy roads, I discovered that this winter. In 40 km/h I went straight off the road and into some rocks and shit. A lot of noice, a lot of beaten and brused plastic underneath the car but I was really lucky, only cosmetic damage. Since it is an Italian car, and I am riding it to Italy this summer, some bruses and scratches just makes it look genuine... Actually it took me less than 14 days to get the first scratch, a women backed into me as I was parked in Oslo.I remeber it hurt, but after all it´s only a car, -or no, it´s not only a car, it´s a Alfa Romeo!
A dream to look at, a dream to ride and Norwegian Alfa-drivers actually salutes eachother on the road, -that´s so cool. You never see that with other cars, exept for classic cars of course. In a few days I´m packingh my bag to go to Elba in Italy for the Holidays, driving down to Hamburg/Germany, take the night-train with the car (autozug.de) to Lörrach/Basel visit some friends and then head down to Tuscany. Can´t wait!
Have a nice summer! ;)
